Michael started Ish Entertainment in Spring 2008 after six years at VH1, the last four of them running programming. During that time, ratings more than doubled and revenues more than tripled. Before that, he was a web entrepreneur at inside.com and an editor at Spin, New York Magazine, and Esquire. Michael is a contributing editor for the Atlantic Monthly, where he writes regularly about technology and its impact on culture and society.
